Programa de Tàndems (intercanvi lingüístic)

Aquest any intentarem engegar un programa de tàndems des del programa d'acollida d'estudiants d'intercanvi, conjuntament amb ESN i el consell d'estudiants de la FTI. L'objectiu d'aquest programa és formar parelles d'un estudiant d'intercanvi i un estudiant d'aquí perquè tinguin algú amb qui practicar el català i el castellà (l'estudiant d'intercanvi) i l'idioma estranger que li interessi (l'estudiant d'aquí). Amb això es pretén crear vincles entre els estudiants d'aquí i els d'intercanvi, per trencar les barreres que hi pugui haver entre ells i per fomentar una manera d'aprendre i de millorar idiomes més informal que les classes o l'estudi: l'amistat. És per això que hem ideat un petit formulari perquè els alumnes que hi estiguin interessats l'emplenin i així els puguem trobar una parella de tàndem adient. Aquest programa és de caràcter voluntari i personal, de manera que no hi haurà un seguiment ni es reconeixerà amb crèdits de lliure elecció, tot i que els alumnes que realment necessiten practicar idiomes segur que en treuen un bon profit. Tandem Programme (linguistic exchange)

The Exchange Students Welcome Programme, together with Erasmus Student Network and the Students' Council of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, has launched a Tandem programme this year. The aim of this programme is pairing off an exchange student with a Catalan or Spanish student, so that they can practise Catalan or Spanish and the mother language of the exchange student alternately and reciprocally and so that both can improve their language level in an informal atmosphere. With this programme we want to create bonds between exchange students and local students, somehow breaking the barriers that may cause segregation among them, and allowing them to learn and improve their foreign languages' level in one of the best ways and out of the classrooms: friendship and real life. For this purpose, we've written an inscription form, so that all those students who want to take part in the programme can fill it in and so that we can find the tandem partner that suits them the most. The tandem programme is valid at a personal level, which means that there'll be no academic control and you won't get more credits if you take part in it, but in my opinion it's a really interesting activity for students who really need to practise and to improve some language.
